With WinVDIG QuickTime applications can capture video on Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP. WinVDIG creates a QuickTime Video Digitizer (VDIG) for each camera on the computer. This includes USB cameras, PCI capture boards and DV cameras.

System Requirements
- Windows 98/ME, 2000/XP or Windows NT 4(sp5 or later & Direct-X 6). Also works with Windows 95 with DirectShow update.
- WinVDIG uses about 400kB of memory (in addition to the requirements of the capture application).
- A camera, or capture board which has WDM or VfW drivers. See the list of tested hardware.
Roadmap
- [1.0] Fix Philips USB webcam controls.
- [1.1] Fix PAL capture.
- [1.2] Performance enhancements. This is a major area for future work. Currently performance is being totally ignored, and it will be ignored until version 1.0 is out. I expect that there are several factors of 2 which will be gained after a couple of days work
- [2.0] Create a Panel component which displays the Video Capture Property Page.
